Creative & Fashion Tech Start Up Events in NYC | 3/14/17 - 3/29/17

Dear Friend,

Just came back from my weekend in Austin at SXSW, where I stayed at TheCurrent house with three of my huge inspirations in the creative tech space: Liz Bacelar, Pavan Bahler and Dalia Strum. Thank you guys so much for this amazing opportunity. I helped at TheCurrent opening day this Saturday with organizing mentorship sessions and putting together a fashion tech trivia game. This was one of the most fascinating experiences in my life as I was at the center of all the coolest fashion tech action, got to meet many up-and-coming entrepreneurs and tech hustlers.

It's not a secret that if you want to succeed in your career, you need to hustle. You need to suck up your feelings and weaknesses and work hard to achieve your goals. If you don't you miss out and eventually fail. (but you can always get up and try again!) In order to stay productive and inspired I regularly listen to a number of podcasts. Today I would like to feature one of them: 5to9 - a podcast for "the side hustle generation". For those like me, who have a steady 9 to 5 job that provides salary and career growth, and fulfill a dream in a 5 to 9 (or to 2am) hustle. This is a young podcast that has became a favorite of mine thanks to the amazing, energetic hosts Tina Yip and John Matson and the guests who we actually can relate to. It's like talking to your cool friends, but better - you can just listen :) So listen to 5to9, stay inspired and have fantastic and productive 2 weeks ahead!
