Creative & Fashion Tech Start Up Events in NYC | 4/11/17 - 4/20/17

Dear Friend,

Continuing to address the importance of mindful breaks from fashion & tech I started in my previous email. Here's a little bit on the power of failures in our lives. Everyone experienced them, big or small, and we all know how the bigger ones feel... pretty f***ing bad. So learning to get the most out of failures and turn them into a positive opportunity is a key in order to avoid living in a constant state of sadness. I was inspired by this article that sets J.K. Rowling's life story as a example of how failures can be a ground base for liberation that eventually leads to the greatest success in our lives. "With nothing more to lose, we have a foundation and this foundation limits downside... Persistence matters. Rejection and failure may not be easy to absorb, but if you have a rational reason to believe that what you have to offer is of value, then showing up and trying, again and again, is a critical part of any strategy for success." We surely all know this already. But it's good to be reminded every so often to stay inspired and positive when we face with another failure. Read this Quora for a wider variety of reasons why failing is good for you. Let's set our minds to fail forward and become the best versions of ourselves.

And to the letter.
