Conscious Fashion Tech News & Events in NYC | 9.27.18 - 10.27.18 | THIS WEEK: Conscious Shopping Panel + Clothing Swap

Dear Friend,

Sending this email a week earlier than scheduled to remind you about the two Balanced Fashion events I'm hosting this week at The Canvas space:

On Thursday, Sept. 27 at 6:30pm: a panel discussion focused on conscious consumption. Our panelists are Patrick Duffy, Founder of Global Fashion Exchange, Lan Vy Wynn, Founder of Fashion 4 Freedom, Tara St James, Founder of Study NY, Taryn Hipwell is the founder of Beyond the Label, the author of How to Shop for Shi(f)t and Lauren Engelke, Sustainable Fashion Stylist. I'll be moderating this panel and before we start, I'll lead a short meditation for us to feel more grounded and connected.

On Saturday, Sept.26th between 2pm and 5pm: Balanced Fashion's first clothing swap, facilitated by Global Fashion Exchange. Rules and more information about the swap are available at the event page. For those who would like to participate in the clothing swap, please bring 3-5 of your gently worn, clean items to the panel on Thursday night and come back for the swapping day. If you can’t contribute your garments on Thursday, please arrive a half an hour before the swap is open so that we can merchandise your items.

RSVP for the both events here and use balancedfashionswap5off code for $5 off discount for our newsletter subscribers. (which makes it a free code for the clothing swap event)

Look forward to seeing you there!
