Creative & Fashion Tech Start Up Events in NYC | 3/28/17 - 4/6/17

Dear Friend,

Now that we've stepped into the 🌷Spring🌷 season, just wanted to share with you what's been on my mind for the past few months... All the creative and fashion tech stuff is great, inspiring, exciting and keeps us running forward & reaching further career heights! But we all understand that this is all an outside, a material world. What really matters is very different. It's the mental health, relationships, kindness and the community that actually keep us going. In order to stay sane and continue developing as emotionally intelligent humans, we have to remember to be aware, present and conscious of every word we say, action we take, thought we generate. After all, no matter what's going on around us or in our career, the real power comes within us. The power to deal with difficult situations, power to turn obstacles into opportunities, power to make wise decisions - all this lives within us. Angelia Müller, my inspiration and a thought leader, perfectly described it here. The real challenge is to learn and remember to use this power regularly. I thought it would be worth sharing some valuable and very accessible resources that help me tremendously to stay more focused, aware and emotionally stable: weekly attending this philosophy school and listening to someone as perfect and open-hearted as Eckhart Tolle, follow and set to "See First" Mindful.org Facebook page, daily use Aura app and set up hourly Mindfullness reminders. Then watch your life transform.

Let's take this opportunity to pause, acknowledge this beautiful moment and breathe...

And now to the letter.
